T.E.H Consultancy Limited was founded by Laura Barker, a specialist commercial and contractual consultant with extensive experience in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Laura established the consultancy to provide contractors, subcontractors and infrastructure organisations with the kind of senior commercial expertise that is often only available to the largest businesses — delivered directly, without the overhead of a large firm.

Laura's background spans commercial management, NEC contract administration, claims preparation and dispute support across utilities, water, civil engineering and infrastructure frameworks. She has worked at senior level on complex, high-value projects — managing commercial positions, recovering entitlement and supporting clients through contentious final accounts and formal dispute processes.

Our Approach

T.E.H Consultancy operates on the principle that most commercial problems in construction are preventable. Entitlement is lost not because it does not exist, but because it is not identified in time, not notified correctly or not substantiated adequately. The consultancy's role is to ensure that does not happen — and where it already has, to recover what can be recovered.
